Surprise!! But not.

LeGreg: One day this weekend we need to go up to Chico so I can run an errand, then I have a surprise for you.

Me: A SURPRISE??? FOR ME??? WHAT IS IT!!! :D

LeGreg: It's a SURPRISE.

Me: Are we getting drunk with 18 yr olds up there, like old times??

LeGreg: No

Me: Do I get to sit next to you in a coffee shop for 5 hours while you write papers, like old times??

LeGreg: No

Me: OMG DID YOU FIND ONE OF SKYBOS (rescued from the pound up there) SIBLINGS???????

LeGreg: No, dear.

Me: Are you buying me a 30 pack of Keystone Light at Ray's liquor store for $10, like old times???

LeGreg: NO

Me: Huh....well I give up.

LeGreg: We're going here!

Me: Wow, you're the worst secret/surprise keeper EVER. But YAY!! (We've been talking about going there for a long time)

LeGreg: Well you would have guessed as soon as we started going north out of Chico

Me: Are you kidding? You could have just said "look, something shiny!!" and I would have been sufficiently distracted to not notice. It's like you don't even know me.
